Carolyn R. Wann, 84, of Auburn, died Tuesday April 15, 2008 at Parkview North Hospital. Born March 8, 1924 in LaCrosse, she was a member of Cedar Creek Church of Christ in Leo. She is survived by sons, Richard (Sue) Wann of Hicksville, OH and Ron (Joan) Wann of Butler; daughters, Gloria Wann of Auburn and Marsha Hamric of Fort Wayne; brother, Max (Elsie) Singleton of Mark Center, OH; sisters, Gen Baumgart of Polaski, WI, Mary Lou Mabis of Antwerp, OH, Molly Thompson of Auburn, Barbara Miller of Fort Wayne, Shirley Miller of New Haven and Betty Singleton of New Haven; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; brothers, Richard and Lavon Singleton; son-in-law John Hamric. Service 11 a.m. Friday with calling one hour prior at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Calling Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens.
