Catherine M. Georgi 81 died at her home Tuesday February 22 surrounded by her family. Born February 11, 1930 in Chicago, IL to the late Anthony and Amelia Hansen. She was an Administrative Assistant at the BMV for 22 plus years retiring in 1991. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Surviving are, sons, Tony (Ceil) Georgi, Ft. Wayne, Steven Georgi, Ft. Wayne, daughter, Becky (Charlie) Graf, Ft. Wayne, brother, Robert (Linda) Hansen, Ft. Wayne, grandchildren, Wesley, Jessica, T.J., Amelia, Grace and Barbara. She was preceded in death by brothers, Michael, Francis Hansen, sisters, Josephine Hansen and Betty Haslett. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday February 26 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. There is also calling Friday 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Rosary will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home . Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preferred Memorial to Heartland Hospice.
