Celo May Thompson, 95, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Ashton Creek Health and Rehab Center in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Celo was a daughter of the late Howard and Dorothy (Campbell) Fosnaugh. She married Phillip W. Thompson on September 7, 1946 and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2016. Celo was a member of Colony Heights Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading and British history. Surviving are her daughters, Sandra Kay (John Scott Jr.) Kinter, Phyllis D. (William) Misener and Laurie J. (Karl) Kroeber; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Celo was also preceded in death by brothers, Arthur Fosnaugh and Harold "Pete" Fosnaugh; and sister, Esther Counterman. All services will be private. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
