Obituary

Charles "Chuck" Albert Norcross II, 43 passed unexpectedly Thursday, April 30, 2020.  He was born in Albany, Georgia, to the late Charles Albert Norcross and Linda Faye (Harrington) Norcross.  He was a plumber for Precision Mechanical, Inc. and an assistant wrestling coach at Ft Wayne Northside.

Chuck was a fun loving guy that always joked around and always wanted people happy. Making people laugh seemed to be his specialty and you could always count on that. Chuck would give the shirt off of his back, was dependable, and would help everyone he could. He was a simple man that lived a simple life and said "All I need is to be around those that I love and those that love me". Chuck will be truly missed every day.

Wrestling was a passion of Chuck's and he loved everything that it taught young people about life and the endurance to get through anything. His heart and passion for the sport was apparent every time he coached. That heart and passion made wrestlers want to do their best. Most recently, Chuck began coaching at Ft Wayne Northside and was excited about the opportunities for growth. Previous to Northside, Chuck was a coach at Columbia City, Central Noble, and Beast-mode wrestling club.

He is survived by, fiance Kari Wright; son, Donavan Norcross; step children, Micheal, Matthew and Kaylee Wright; and two granddaughters, Patience "Piah" and Kenzli.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
