Charles A. Bade, 79 of Fort Wayne peacefully departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior on February 22, 2026. Born February 28, 1946, in Fort Wayne, Charles was a devoted man of faith and loved talking about Jesus. He taught adult Sunday School at Grace Fellowship for over twenty years. Charles retired after 43 years at American Electric Power in 2008 and resumed work driving a special needs bus for thirteen years with FWCS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Mildred Bade, a sister, Shirley and brothers Lester and David Bade. He leaves behind his children, Steven (Deb) Bade and Lori Bade; three grandchildren, Tyler Schifler, Sydney (Rashon) Thomas and Lauren Gahagan; nine great grandchildren and his life partner of 37 years, Tanya Hack. In keeping with his wishes, a graveside service will take place at a later date.
