Charles R. "Bob" Browning 71, died Sunday August 7, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital. Born In Jackson, KY. Charles was dedicated for 38 years to CSX Railroad on the Bridge Gang and Safety Committee. Charles was a Vietnam Army Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Browning, Ft. Wayne, IN, children, Erika (Gary) Browning-Burns, Debary, FL, Heidi Browning, Debary, FL, step-sons, Jeff (Deb) Jones, Ft. Wayne, IN, Bret (Sharlene) Jones, Rockford, OH, sisters, Carolyn Browning, Vivian Browning, Ann Browning, KY, brother, Kenneth Browning, granddaughter, Ayanna Browning, step-grandsons, Justin Jones, Joshua Jones, Jesse Jones, niece, Danielle Browning-Hammel, and great nephew Jacob Hammel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harlen and Esther Jane Cockerham, 2 brothers, Ralph and Ronnie Browning. Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday with calling 30 minutes prior to service at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. There is also calling Thursday 2-4 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
