Obituary

Charles E. Bostwick, of Fort Wayne, a life long Dallas Cowboy fan and lover of golf died Sunday April 27, 2008 at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Athens, GA, he was a U.S. Air force veteran and retired from Zollner after 36 years of employment. He served as an Elder of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and volunteer at the church food bank and was also a member of the Optimist Club. He is survived by his wife Judy Bostwick; sons, Charles Bostwick II and Brian Bostwick both of Fort Wayne; daughters, Cheryl Bostwick Harrison of Fort Wayne, Karen Bostwick Early of Tracy, California and Adrienne Bostwick Amos of Fort Wayne; brothers, Julius Bostick of Athens, Ga and Robert Peek of Augusta, GA; a sister, Annie Mildred Jackson of Athens, GA; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, James Bostick, Reginald Peek and Gerdine "Jerry" Bostic. Funeral service Saturday 11 a.m. with calling one hour prior at Bethlehem Lutheran Church 3705 S. Anthony Blvd. Calling also 4-8 p.m. Friday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or the church food bank.
