Charles E. Derbyshire, 90, died, April 28, 2010, peacefully in his home. The Ohio State Graduate and WWII Army Veteran was an Electrical Engineer with G.E. He is survived by his sons, Clark of Fort Wayne, Brian of Lyman S.C, and James of Fort Worth, TX; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Olive M. on November 11, 2009; daughter, Janine Schiesser in 2007 and a grandson, Benjamin Schiesser in 2004. Service is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road. Calling is Monday 7 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
