Charles Farrell, 62 passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Charles was a Purple Heart Vietnam veteran and is survived by his daughter Joellyn Mayer, her husband Matt and granddaughter Evie all of Westfield, IN; brothers Larry and Marty both of Ft. Wayne; sisters Peg Farrell of Bloomington, IN, Joannie Durbin and Sheila Rosenberg, both of Indianapolis, IN.
Please join the family in a celebration of life at noon on Saturday the 17th at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road with calling two hours prior. Military honors performed by Post 241. Burial will be at Catholic Cemetery. Those who knew him will remember him as someone who strongly disliked formality so we ask you please come honor him in your favorite jeans or comfort clothes; he would like that best.
