Charles LeRoy Thomas Jr., 78, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016. He was born August 24, 1938 in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Charles L. and Zola M. Thomas. Charles drove truck for ATL/ANR Company for 30 years. He enjoyed time on the computer and travel and was an avid football fan.

Surviving is his wife Judith Thomas, sons, Charles L. (Rebecca) Thomas III, Ben T. (Beth) Thomas, Steven R. (Diane Hren) Thomas, 9 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by 7 siblings.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday October 24, 2016 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with viewing 1 hour prior to service. There will also be viewing Sunday October 23 at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Entombment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
