Charles A. Traster, 80 died Thursday, May 20, 2010 in the Glenbrook Rehab. Born in Mishawaka to the late Archie M.& Mildred (Chorpenning) Traster. He was a greeter at the Lima Rd. Meijers Store for 6 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Light of Christ Ministries. Surviving are his wife, Betty Traster, Fort Wayne, IN, sons, Archie (Mary) Traster, Garrett, IN, Paul & Joe Traster, both of Auburn, IN, daughters, Hope (Carl) Warner, Butler, IN, Bev (Rick) DeLong, Butler, IN, Madge (Terry) King, Butler, IN, Dawn (Jamie) Juarez, Fort Wayne, IN, Amber Traster, Fort Wayne, IN, 30 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Services are 11:00a.m. Monday May 24th at Covington Memorial Funeral Home. There is calling Sunday May 23rd from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to service. Pastor Elizabeth Owens and Evangelist Sal Frutos officiating. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
