Charlotte Marlene Sturgill, 90, passed away on December 29, 2023 in Toledo, OH. She was born in Columbia City, IN on December 15, 1933, a daughter of the late Frank H. Walker and Frances Mildred Patty King.


Charlotte worked in the Clerical department at Sears Roebuck Co. Industry Retail and she also Worked For Kohls.


Charlotte is survived by daughter, Sue (Darrell) Banks; daughter-in-law, Linda L. Tilley; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her first husband, Homer Edward Tilley and second husband Charles Sturgill; son, Homer Edward Tilley Jr.; and siblings, Luelle Orr, Marshall Walker, Franklin Walker, and Alvie Walker.

Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, January 4th, 2023 with visitation from 10 am until 1 pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46804.
