Cheryl Teresa Brookshire, 65, of Fort Wayne, passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at home. She was born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania to the late Kenneth Harvey and Mabel Epperson (White). She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and had retired from Verizon in 2002, after 30 years of service.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Harvey, Alex (Zonitra) Brookshire and Jovan Brookshire all of Fort Wayne; daughter, Carla Noel of Fort Wayne; five sisters; six grandchildren; and three great granddaughters.

Memorial Service is 11 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior to service. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorial are to the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
