Cheryl B. Koopmans 60 died Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home. Born in Rochester, New York to John and Lois Koopmans. Cheryl was a professor at St. Mary's College, Maryland, Ivy Tech and Indiana Tech, Fort Wayne. Surviving are her cherished sons, Nate and Ethan Clark, Ft. Wayne, IN, mom, Lois Koopmans, Palm Bay, FL, brother, Bruce Koopmans, Palm Bay, FL. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father John Koopmans in 2005. Services are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd. Pastor Robert Bruckner officiating. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial may be given to the Lymphoma Research Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
