Cheryl Kay Lawson, 71, of Auburn passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was born June 6, 1954, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Ivan and Marjorie Lahr. She married Johnny Lawson; he survives.

Cheryl enjoyed crafts, scrap booking and staying home caring for her fur babies. She was the best wife Johnny could have asked for. She was good-hearted and very giving, even to the end of her life when she was a donor.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny; a brother Butch Lahr and a sister Dottie King. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Charlene.

Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
