Christi Jean Black, 68, passed away on April 17, 2023. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on October 10, 1954, a daughter of the late Ralph and Georgia Schimmoller.

Christi was a member of Independent Full Gospel Church.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Thomas Black; siblings, Ralph Schimmoller of Braydenton, FL, Rick Schimmoller, Ron Schimmoller and Joyce Schimmoller all of Ft. Wayne, IN, Randy of Monroeville, IN, and Wendy Flaugher of New Haven, IN; step-sister, Darlene Harker, of Hope, IN.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8404 Covington Road, Ft. Wayne, IN 46804 with calling from 11 am to 1 pm.
Burial will take place in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Hospice.
