Claudia Ruth Pelz, 89, passed peacefully Saturday, December 23, 2017. Born in Hancock County, Ohio she was a daughter to the late, Clyde Manford Chilson and Blanche Ruth (McDaniel) Chilson. She retired from Wayne Home Equipment after many years of service. During her retirement she was a realtor with Recht & Recht Realtors.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bill Pelz, Sr.; children, Rick and Bill Wren, Tona Bridenbaugh, Penny and Colby Lancaster, Kathy Stewart, Leta Winchester, Marla Bergman and Bill Pelz, Jr.; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Jerry Pridemore and John and Matt Lancaster.

Funeral Service is 7 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery in VanWert County, Ohio.
