Claudia Ann Diefenbacher, 83 of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Peabody Nursing Home in North Manchester. She was born April 13, 1942, in Hamilton, Ohio, the daughter of John and Violet (Long) Baker.

She loved flowers and kept a meticulously landscaped yard where she enjoyed watching the various animals eating from the feeders. She enjoyed ceramics, fishing, playing bridge and of course she loved her yellow Ford Mustang. Most of all she loved and cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, John (Colleen) Diefenbacher and Jeffrey (Deb Cramer) Diefenbacher, grandchildren, Chad (Melanie) Diefenbacher, Rebecca (Evan) Kottke, Jacquelyn (Dan) Peterson, Marc Diefenbacher, Samantha Diefenbacher and Sarah Ridenour, great grandchildren, Jackson Kottke, Makenzie Kottke, Alexander Diefenbacher, Camden Diefenbacher, Joanna Diefenbacher, Evan Diefenbacher, Grant Hulett, Olivia Diefenbacher and Dominic Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ronald Baker.

A celebration of Claudia's life will begin at 2:00 pm, Friday February 20, 2026 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be directed to Alcoholics Anonymous of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
