Clifford A. Mason went to be with Jesus on Monday, September 21, 2026, at I.U. Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born April 30, 1938, in Haydenville, Ohio, to Clifford and Mildred (Thomas) Mason.

Clifford married Carol Ann on March 25,1961, who survives. He retired from International Harvester after many years of service. He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps.

Clifford loved Jesus and was always willing to share his love for Christ with others. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and his family meant everything to him. He also loved his “fur babies,” Callie and Timmy and all the grand ‘’fur babies’’. He enjoyed train rides, especially trips to Arizona to visit family. He was a crafted woodworker, who made several pieces, which family members still enjoy today.

Surviving are his wife, Carol; daughters, Cindi (Vince) Simpson and Carla (Calvin) Peck; four grandchildren; Nikki (Cory) Ade, Amanda Eberle, Jazzi Wolf, Matt Simpson; seven great-grandchildren; Jordan (Jasmine) Ade, Emily Ade, Alexis Eberle, Lexi Rish, Ayden Eberle, Railyn Simpson, Xavier Simpson; and one great-great-grandchild; Theodore Ade.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Cherri Wolf; brother, Walter Mason; and sister, Linda Giles.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens.
