Clifton "Cliff" Louis Bowers, 78, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Cliff was a Navy veteran; and he was a retired project manager working commercial construction.

He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Chris; daughters, Jeannie ("Pineapple") Dennen of Fort Wayne and Karen (Tim) Moore of Columbia City; brothers, Carl (Jeannett) of Howe and John (Cindy) of Orland; sisters, Sharon Mowery of Fort Wayne and Linda Platt of Columbia City; mother in law, Sharon Bower of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher, Kaitlyn and Tanner; four great grandchildren, Alyana, Christopher, Julianna and Toby; and his furry friend, Jack.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Eugene Bowers and Arthur "Bill" Bowers; and sisters, Marie Hunter, Delores Roberts, Nora Graf and Shirley Bowers; father in law, Richard Bower; and his beloved dog, Tuffy.

Funeral Service is 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling from 4-7 p.m. He will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to the family or Steuben County Humane Society.
