Connie Pond, 63, went home to her Lord Friday, October 9, 2015. She was born December 19, 1951 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Jacqueline Johnson-Heyneman and the late Dallas Johnson. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Connie''s family wants to thank Grey Stone for the compassion and care given to Connie and Jim.

Surviving are her children, Tammy (Shawn) Atkinson, Terri Conner, Tara (Scott) Michael, James "Jimmy" (Chelsie Daugherty) Pond IV, Tammie L. Boyd, Wendi Tauge, Penny (Tony) Kovac, 17 grandchildren, Cameron, emily, Kami Jones, Kaleb, Kloee, Josh, Justin, Logan, Lincoln, Aislinn, Robbie, Riley, Brian, Ashley, Christopher, Travis, Kelly and 6 great-grandchildren, Tanner, Trapper, C.J. Aiden, Kadence, Kaylie, 4 brothers, Marvin, Rick, Dallis, Greg and 8 sisters, Elaine, Rose, Lina, Lisa, Vickie, Charlene, Kathy, Cindy. She was preceded in death in March by her husband James Pond III, and a grandson.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 14, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church 7810 St. Joe Center Rd. Ft. Wayne with calling 1 hour prior to service. There will also be calling Tuesday October 13, 2015 at the church from 5 - 8 p.m. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Heartland Hospice or Calvary Baptist Church.
