Constance "Connie" Lipp
January 1, 1924 - June 2, 2010
Connie Lipp, 86, died in Arizona on Wednesday morning in Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ, while she was visiting her son and his family with her daughter and son-in-law. She was born at home in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Albert and Lizzie Bender. She married William "Bill" Lipp on September 22, 1942. He preceded her in death on August 15, 1998. She worked at Stillman's and at General Electric once her children were grown.
Connie loved life and enjoyed the time after retirement traveling and winter living at Buttonwood Bay in Florida. After a stroke in 2007, she lived with her daughter until October 2009. Her new residence was Hamilton House, assisted living on Butler Rd. in Fort Wayne.
She is survived by her daughter, Kay (Jerry) Dager of Fort Wayne and Michael (Kathy) Lipp of Marana, Arizona; grandchildren, Jerry Dager, Tony Dager, Bob Dager, Chad Lipp, and Kamich Henson; 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
