IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Constance
Fiandt
October 1, 1945 – March 22, 2023
Constance "Connie" Fiandt, 77, passed away on March 22, 2023. She was born on October 1, 1945, in Fort Wayne, IN, a daughter of the late Archie and Virginia Peek.
Connie graduated from North Side High School, class of 1963. She then studied Music and Education at Fort Wayne Bible College. She waited tables at Don Hall's for 17 years; taught piano (30+ years); and played piano at Von Maur.
She spent the majority of her life as a local volunteer, sharing the hopeful promises found in the Bible. This work allowed her to merge her passions of learning and teaching. In order to help a wider variety of people, she taught herself to read and speak Karen. In addition to these activities, she loved playing the piano, painting, traveling, and laughing with her family and friends.
She was well known for her wit. Even in recent months, as friends and family sat and talked with her, she would quietly slip in a zinger as if to reassure us she was still Connie.
She is survived by her son, Hap (Casey) Fiandt; sister, Jeanette (Steve) Walsh, Carolyn Minier; nieces and nephews, Doug Minier, David (Michelle) Minier, Jennifer (Craig) Albrecht, Matthew (Staci) Snyder, Joseph Walsh, Corey (Jennifer) Walsh, Julie Rodenbeck, Justin Rodenbeck, Damon Fiandt, Abby (Steve) Hinchliffe, David (Ashly) Heminger, Mitchell (Nic) Fiandt, Grant (Abby) Fiandt. She also leaves behind 19 grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Fiandt.
