D. Irene Sage-Ramsey, 92, died Sunday September 9, 2012 at Regency Place. She was born April 29, 1920 in Wabash, IN to the late Emery and Mary Liston. She worked at the Fort Wayne Newspapers for 23 years in the Classified Dept. Surviving are her children, Valerie Fowler and Cheryl Matson both of Ft. Wayne, IN, 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Sage in 1975 and second husband Richard Ramsey in 2004. Honoring Irene''s request there will be no calling or service. Covington Memorial Funeral Home is assisting the family.
