Dale R. Knape, 57, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday April 19, 2008 at Parkview Hospital. Born Dec. 14, 1950 in Fort Wayne, he attended Messiah Lutheran Church. He is survived by his mother, Helen M. Knape of Fort Wayne; brother, Ronald J. Knape of North Carolina; sisters, Carolyn J. Nash of California and Janet S. Dertien of Texas; four nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Victor Knape in 2007. Funeral service Noon Wednesday with calling one hour prior at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd.
