Obituary

Daniel Bireley, 70, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on November 25th surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with cancer.

Daniel was born on January 6, 1951 to Harvey and Margaret (Shell) Bireley in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In his adult life, he pursued a few jobs before he found his niche in sales and marketing. Through hard work and determination, he co-founded AllStar Printed Products. He retired in 2009.

Daniel met the love of his life, Kathlyn (Gutman) Bireley, while still a student at Bishop Luers High School. They married in 1971 and shared 50 wonderful years together. They had two children, Jeremy and Amy.

After retiring, Daniel loved living by the ocean in Myrtle Beach. He spent his time gardening, hiking, doing puzzles, cooking, watching sports, and spending time with his family.

Daniel is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife Kathlyn; his siblings David Bireley, Carol (Kevin) Kolmerten, Greg (Mary Jo)  Bireley, Jeanine (Kenneth) Gilgen, Don (Jackie) Bireley; his children, Jeremy (Heather) Bireley, and Amy (David) Waning; and his 8 grandchildren Bridget and Charlie Bireley, Megan, Matthew, and Nora Waning, Hunter, Hannah, and Hayden Tisland.

Family will receive friends from 10:00am - 12:00pm at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825, with funeral mass to follow at 12:00.  Inurnment will take place at Covington Memorial Gardens following mass and prayer service.
