Daniel Leonard Eaton, 66, passed Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Parkview North Hospital.  Born in  Malden, Mass., he was a son to the late Edward and Mary Eaton.  Dan was the owner of Rocky's Painting business.  Dan had bachelors in psychology; his passion was helping disabled adults.  He had worked for Easter Seals Arc.

He is survived by daughters, Meghan (Corey) Jackson and Jillian (Zak) Keller both of Fort Wayne; sons, Daniel Jr. Eaton, August (Kristi) Eaton and Rocky Eaton all of Fort Wayne; sisters, Diane Eaton and Dorothy Eaton both of California; brother, Larry (Keiko) Eaton of California; matriarch of the family and auntie, Marilyn Turley of Boston, Massachusetts; 7 grandchildren, Maggie, Caeden, Elijah, Parker, Grayson, Landon and Isabella; and companion of 12 years, Cathy Nix.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Leo Eaton.

Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior.  Calling is also 4-8 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2018.  He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.  Preferred memorials are to Easter Seals Arc and GiGi's Playhouse.
