Daniel Dean Headlee, 64, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018.  Born in Fort Wayne, he was a son to the late Charles and Jeanette Headlee.  Dan was a Vietnam Veteran, he served in the Army and was a member of the VFW.  He retired from food services at the VA Hospital in 2014.

He is survived by son, Jason (Nicole) Headlee; brother, Dennis (Joan) Headlee; sister, Charlotte Carson; three grandchildren, Cora, Keegan and Lucas; and longtime companion, Lisa Werling.

Funeral Service is 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2018 Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior.  Officiating will be Pastor Michael Smith.  He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens with military honors.
