Darrell Joe Tomlinson, 81, died Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Goshen, Indiana.  He was born on April 7, 1937 in Harlan, Kentucky to the late, Joe and Mildred (McGhee) Tomlinson.  He worked in various Auto Retail sales for 20 years.  He was a member of the Waynedale Baptist Church and was active in the Turners Amateur Softball, in Ft. Wayne.

Surviving is his son, Eric (Lisa) Tomlinson; brother, David (Cathy) Tomlinson; grandchildren, Anthony (Alison), Maria, Brittany, Jordan (Taylor) and Matteson; great-grandchildren, Rilyee and Gabriel; along with several nieces and nephews.

Darrell was preceded in death by his wife, Cecile A. Tomlinson, January 2005; daughter, Judith Ann Tomlinson, May 1992; and a sister, Elizabeth J. Balbaugh.

Funeral service is 12:00 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd ., with calling two hours prior to service.  He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
