David M. Felton, 61, of South Bend, was born on June 20, 1957 in Portland, Oregon.  Dave graduated from Clay High School in South Bend and Ball State University with his Bachelors in Accounting.  He was an auditor for the Indiana Department of Revenue for 35 years.  He loved officiating high school sports.

He is survived by brothers, Paul (Elizabeth) Felton of St. Louis, Steve (Faith) Felton of Fort Wayne; niece, Charity Felton; nephews, Kyle (Rachel) Felton, Isaiah (Heidi) Felton, Samuel Felton, Ezekiel Felton, and Jacob Felton; and brother in law, Walter Roberts of Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by parents, Rev. Charles W. Felton and Eileen E. (Borchelt) Felton; and sister, Sandra Felton Roberts.

Memorial Service is Noon, Monday, August 27, 2018 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior.  He was laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.

Preferred memorials are to the Sandra Felton Roberts scholarship fund at Valparaiso University or the American Diabetes Foundation.
