David F. Hart, 71, went to his final rest on July 29, 2025. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 17, 1954. He graduated from South Side High School, class of 1973. He joined the Navy after high school and then returned to Fort Wayne after his Naval Service. He worked at a few odd jobs before he was hired at the Fort Wayne Newspapers. He worked there until he was old enough to retire. He is survived by his two sisters, Mary Marlow and Maria Zimmer; his niece Lailah (Tom) Caldwell; two nephews, Tony (Holly) Hart and Harry R. Zimmer Jr.; two great nieces, Anna Caldwell and Amelia Hart and two great nephews, Oliver and Owen Hart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry A. And Margeurite (Helmrath) Hart and his brother Patrick M. Hart. He will always be remembered for his free spirit, his wonderful laugh and his joyful nature.
