David Clayton Howard, 54, of Fort Wayne, passed away of a sudden illness on Sunday Aug. 3rd 2008 at Parkview Hospital. Born Sept. 6, 1953 in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Dale C. and Edith Fisher Howard. A 1971 graduate of Central High School, he was manager of Saint Joe Athletic Club for 15 years and is currently employed by the Transportation Services of Fort Wayne Community Schools. He also was a member of Teamsters local 414. Survivors include his wife Kathy Froebe Howard; son, Joshua C. Howard, a student at Wabash College; brothers, Leslie and Lyle Howard; seven nieces and two nephews. A celebration of life gathering will be held Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd.
