David F. Martin, 85, died Monday April 28, 2014. He was born May 2, 1928 in Fort Wayne to the late Harold and Grace Martin. He retired after 20 years as owner and operator of Martin Laboratory a T.V. business. After that he was a projectionist. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Waynedale United Methodist Church, Past President of the Columbia City and Waynedale Kiwanis.

Surviving are his sons, Keith (Deb) Martin, Gregory L. Martin, brother, sisters, Glendora Greulach, Ellen Klopfenstein and grandchildren, Kendra, and Aubrey. He was preceded in death by his wife Delores in 2012 and son and daughter-in-law Edwin and Deb Martin in 1976 and a brother, Harold "Jim" Martin.

Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 3, 2014 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. There will be calling at the funeral home Friday May 2, 2014 from 5 - 8 p.m. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
