Rev. David A. Mitchell, 70, died on January 7, 2024. Born on March 28, 1953 at Terre Haute, Indiana he was the son of the late M. Richard and Phyllis Mitchell. He was formerly the pastor of Memorial Baptist Church in Fort Wayne.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Barbara Ann, sons, David and James (Jennifer) Mitchell and daughter Jennifer (Sam McCartney) Brown, four granddaughters, Heather, Natalie, Jocelyn and Emma; and great-granddaughter, Skye.
Funeral service to be held at 11 am on January 13, 2024 at Northridge Baptist Church, 1300 E. Cook Rd. Ft. Wayne, IN, with visitation 2  hours prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joe Community Church or Northridge Baptist Church. Private burial to be held at a later date.
