David R. Patterson, 67, went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2012 Born January 12, 1945 in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Roy and LaVern Patterson. David was an inventor and engineer for Murray Equipment Inc since 1968. He was a longtime member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church. "He loved his wife, his family, his friends, his backyard paradise, his fish, his cats, his church and his work, but most of all he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with his whole heart." Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Cindi L. Patterson, Ft. Wayne, IN, children, Craig (Rhonda) Patterson, Randy (Dawn) Patterson, Shawn (Kim) Patterson, all of Ft. Wayne, IN, Brooke (Brandon Coe) Patterson, Chicago, IL,7 grandchildren Foster, Jacob, Caleb, Cole, Madalyn, Paige and Cade, sister, Sharon (Paul) Hoffman, Carmel, IN. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 325 Crescent Ave. with calling 1 hour prior to service. There is also calling Sunday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials to Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Concordia Lutheran High School Athletic Dept. and Parkview Home Health & Hospice.
