David L. Witte, 65, of Fort Wayne, passed away on February 20, 2025. He was born on June 27, 1959, to Robert and Florence Witte and was a graduate of South Side High School.

Dave followed in his father's footsteps and became an electrician by trade, using his skills to solve problems and lend a helping hand whenever he could. He had an appreciation for the simple joys in life—spending time fishing, watching NASCAR races, and had a big heart for rescuing animals.

He is survived by his daughters, Brittany (Daniel) DeWyse and Courtney Witte, as well as his granddaughter, Hayden Emrick.

Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, February 27, 2025, with visitation from 10 AM to 11:30 AM at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46804. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans National Memorial and Shrine or Humane Fort Wayne.

Entombment will take place in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN.
