Davie L. Thompson's Obituary
Davie L Thompson, 73, went to her Lord and Savior on, Thursday, January 14, 2016 at St. Joe Hosppital. She was born in Chicago, on January 13, 1943, to the late Leon Barnette and Velma Thompson. She was a life guard with the Chicago Park District. Davie was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children, Melvaughn Thompson of Chicago and James (Stephanie) Thompson of Fort Wayne; siblings, Tremont Barnette, Seppie Ann Thompson, Rosemary and Frenchell Barnette; four grand children, Martez Thompson, Airyanna, Travion and Aniya Chaney.
Memorial service is 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3705 South Anthony Blvd, with calling one hour prior. Preferred memorials are to the church.
