Dean Allen Wright, 84, passed, Wednesday, January 25, 2017. Born in Howard County, Indiana a son to the late John and Blanche Wright. Dean proudly served his country from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War in the Army. He was a member of Markle VFW 6671 and had retired from GE.

He is survived by daughters, Robin (Jon) McDonnell, Linda (Robert) Wilson, Emma (Gregory) Hobbs and Donna (John) Eiffel; son, Larry (Brenda) Finney; 13 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren, with one on the way.

He was preceded by his wife of 53 years, Erma Lou (Ormsby) Finney-Wright, in 2016; brothers, Paul, Doyle, Harold, Howard, Lloyd and Gene; and grandson, Brandon Finney.

Funeral Service is 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2017 Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling three hours prior. Officiating will be Chaplain Kris McPherson. He will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens with military honors. Preferred memorials are to the Wright Family.
