Deborah Ann Bender, 57, of Fort Wayne, died on Friday, February 17, 2012, at home with her family by her side. Born here in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter to the late Alvin and Betty Lesh. She was a member of the Woodburn Missionary Church and worked for the Aetna Insurance Company.
She is survived by her husband of over 33 years, Gregory George Bender; sons, Daniel (Mary) and Adam both of Fort Wayne; sister, Melody (Ron) Daggett of Harlan; brother, James (Deb) Pusey of Arizona; and five grandchildren, Daniel, Ethan, Caitlin and Lesha.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Butch Lesh; sister Piper Tassler and a granddaughter, Ileshaa.
Memorial Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation two hours prior. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
