Deborah D. (Dee Dee) Crain, 65, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was a daughter of the late Carl and Susan (Carpenter) Hewitt. Deborah married Mark Crain on July 2, 1977 and he survives. She worked in the IT department at Lutheran Health Network since 1984. Deborah was a faithful member of Central Ministries. She enjoyed singing and shopping. Deborah was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her children, Christopher Crain, Sarah King and Rachel Maxwell-Norris; seven grandchildren; and brother-in-law, David Fennig. Deborah was also preceded in death by her sister, Suzanne Fennig. Funeral service 1:00pm Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation also, Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
