DeEtta Bernice Braun (Sanborn), 98, was born December 13, 1913, in Breckenridge, MN. to the late Thomas and Mary Sanborn. She died December 1, 2012 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

DeEtta was the Matriarch to six generations. She had 4 children: June (Joseph) Sanchez of Santa Maria, CA., Ethel (Les) Day, of Oakes, ND., Theodore T. (Donna) Braun, of Fort Wayne, IN., Carol Santelio, of Las Vegas, NV. DeEtta had 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Carl Braun in 1955.

She was the senior member of St. Michael Lutheran Church which was her worship home. She was involved in Craftwork for many years. She made gifts for people in nursing homes at Easter & Christmas.

Service is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday December 4, 2012 at St. Michael Lutheran Church 2131 Getz Rd. with viewing 1 hour prior to service. Burial will be later in the family plot in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Waconia, MN. Preferred Memorials to Worship for Shut-Ins, Visiting Nurse & Hospice and St. Michael Foundation (Vacation Bible School Fund).
