Dennis Leon Free, 86, passed peacefully Friday, March 9, 2018 at home surrounded by family.  He was born July 28, 1931 in Cornelia, Georgia, a son to the late John Enoch Free and Mary Lou (King) Free.  Dennis proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Korean Era.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Lou Free; daughters, Kathy (Mike) Pond, Beverly, Susan, Karen (George) Cook, Debbie and Patty (Todd) Buschman; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Paul; sister, Ellene; and brothers, Milton and Ben Free.

Per Dennis's request there was a private service at church for the family.
