DILLARD R. STEPHENS, 92, went home to his Lord on March 21,2022.  Dillard was born March 27, 1929 in Stearns, Ky., He was the son of Luther  and Pearl Stephens. He was very active at The Chapel and Gideon's  International. He also worked as the District Sales manager for Western and Southern Insurance.

Surviving are his children; children, Barb (Dan) Dirig and Drew (Becky Ellis)  Stephens; brothers Willard Stephens and David Stephens. grandchildren,  Mandie (Charles) Walker, Paul (Mollie) Dirig, Elizabeth (Brad) Landis, John  Dirig, Kent Stephens, Craig (Jamie) Stephens, Melissa (Seth) Kalhagen,  Samuel (Andrea) Stephens, Luke (Aly) Stephens, and Micah (Kasey)  Stephens; and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife  Alma and a son, Roger Stephens. Dillard and Alma were married for 61  years before her death.

Funeral service is at 11:00 AM March 29, 2022 at The Chapel, 2505 W.  Hamilton Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46814), with viewing one hour prior. Burial in  Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
