Dohr R. Krieg, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday Jan. 23, 2009 at his home. Born Jan. 21, 1916 in North Manchester, he had worked for General Electric for 38 years. He was a member of First Assembly of God, played basketball and softball through the GE Club and other organizations and he ministered to children through the church van ministry throughout Fort Wayne. "The family would like to thank the staff of Heartland Hospice for the loving and compassionate care that they provided to Dohr". He is survived by his wife, Martha Krieg; a son, Philip Krieg of Warsaw; daughters, Melanie (Michael) Inman of Spring Lake, MI and Pamela (Angelo) Ioannou of Milford, IN; seven grandsons, one granddaughter, five great grandsons and one great granddaughter.
