Donald G. Hartsock, 79, passed away Wednesday September 21, 2016. Don was born January 10, 1937 in Miller Yard, VA to the late Henry and Bonnie Hartsock. He retired as Superintendent of Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery after 27 years. His passion was hunting especially during deer season. Don was a United States Army Veteran.

Surviving is his wife, Anna Hartsock, children, Diana (Tim) Clark, Chris (Krista Sandlin) Hartsock, Kevin Hartsock, Katie (Bob) Pallick, 9 grandchildren, Alexis, Breonna, Cooper, Leigh, Katie, Mike, Lisa, Ashlee, Glen David and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Brian and Glen Hartsock Jr., 2 brothers, Jim and Clyde Hartsock, 2 sisters, Helen Hartsock and Shirley Brown.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday September 26, 2016 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with viewing 1 hour prior to service. There is also viewing Sunday September 25, 2016 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
