Donald Kemp, 89, passed away on November 20, 2024. He was born on July 30, 1935, a son of the late Floyd and Doris Kemp.

He retired from Metropolitan Life after over 33 years of service in 1993. He enjoyed bowling but was most passionate about golfing.

He is survived by children, Judy (Dennis) Maley, Dan (Phelicia) Kemp and Larry (Becky) Kemp; grandchildren, Matt (Rachel) Dinius, Brandon (Laura) Maley , Phaith (Jamie) Muma, Patrick (Janet) Kemp, Josiah Kemp, Eliyah Kemp, Saufina (Dan) Eidson, Asher Kemp and; 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 66 years, Ruth Ann Kemp; daughter, Dianna Kemp, granddaughter, Netanya Kemp; siblings, Joan Callahan, Robert Kemp, and David Kemp.

Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46804.

Funeral service will be held at 11 am with calling one hour prior on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, also at the funeral home.
