Obituary for Donald A Koehl
Donald A. Koehl, 58, of Fort Wayne, died on December 28th, 2007 following a 2½ year illness with Esthesioneuroblastoma cancer. Don was a 1967 graduate of Garrett High School, held a BBA from Nazareth College and a MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. He had a 35 year career in manufacturing accounting, most recently at Medical Protective, Inc. Surviving are his wife, Cindy, and their two daughters Nichole of Houston, TX and Melissa of Boston, MA, four brothers, Robert, Steven, James and David; five sisters Beverly Porter, Teresa Thorne, Ruth Reinhold, Mary Esselburn, Dorothy Adkison and their spouses; three brothers-in-law Stephen Wagner, John Wagner and Christopher Wagner and their spouses, and 27 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert A. Sr. and Gloria J. Koehl, a brother, a sister, and a son. There will be a celebration of life for all family and friends 1 p.m. Saturday with a gathering starting at noon at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. followed by a private burial. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the University of Michigan Cranial Base Tumor Research Endowment or to Parkview Hospice of Fort Wayne are preferred.
