Donald Lee Lewis, Sr. 77, passed away Wednesday September 30, 2020.  Born in Danville, IL He was a son to the late Betty ( Kenneth) Wheaton and George Lewis.   He was a proud US Marine corp Veteran. Don was a member of American Legion posts 499 and 47 Ft. Wayne where he enjoyed spending time.  He was an avid car enthusiast and champion horse shoe player.

He  is survived by wife, Sally Lewis of 59 years,  two sons; Donald L.(Myra)  Lewis, Jr. and Kenneth R.  Lewis. Grandchildren; Stephanie  (Sam) Pope and Donald L.  Lewis III( financee, Morgan York.)  great granddaughter, Reagan Pope,  Sister, Marcia McCoy, step- sister, Debbie ( Lon) Wester  and step brother, Mark Wheaton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty (Kenneth) Wheaton and George Lewis; brother-in-law, Ed McCoy and  sister –in-law,  Linda Wheaton.

Visitation is 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2020,  Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. Friday October, 9,2020 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road,   Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens
