Donald E. Postel of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away peacefully on September 17 th .  He was 97. Don was a WWII veteran in the Army and graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.  He went on to work for several companies, ending up in Fort Wayne with Magnavox.  He then switched career paths and became the Director of Business Affairs at Fort Wayne Bible College.  He was a long time member of Northpark Church.  He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and fixing broken electrical devices and clocks. Don was preceded in death by his wife Marianne T. (Kingsley) Postel, his parents Roy B. Postel and Jenny Postel, his brothers Terance Postel, Dale Postel and sister Betty Matthews. He is survived by his children, Gregory Postel of Grabill, IN, Kevin Postel of Plymouth, MI, Timothy Postel of Ventura, CA, and his daughters, Dawn (Postel) Paul of Alpine, CA and Pamela (Postel) Werling of Alpine, CA. He is survived by his four grandchildren Diane Postel of Chicago, IL, Joshua Postel of Plymouth, MI, Jackson Werling of San Diego, CA, and Madeline Werling of San Diego, CA.  His ashes will be buried alongside his wife in Newcomerstown, OH. Please contact a family member for future Memorial plans.  To offer your sympathy during this difficult time, donations may be sent to Parkview Home Health & Hospice or the Jesus Film Project at the links below.
