Donna M. Stigamire, 94, died Thursday, September 25, 2014. Born May 11, 1920, to Fred A. and Emma (Gnepper) Carper, she graduated from Jackson Township High School in 1938. Her first husband, Robert J. Inks, died June 25, 1955. Donna then married Carlton R. Stigamire October 27, 1957, who passed away July 3, 2003. She was a buyer and department manager at the former Joseph''s Dept. Store for 20 years, retiring in 1972. Donna was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Fremont Federation of Women and 17- year volunteer at Memorial Hospital. She also was a talented crafter.

She is survived by her daughter, Diana L. (Inks) Hilmer; granddaughters, Erika Gibson and Erin Hilmer.

Donna was preceded in death by brothers, Louis, Carl and Frederick Carper; sisters, Helen Hill and Gertrude Harris.

Private memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Covington Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Preferred memorials are to First Presbyterian Church in Fremont, Ohio.
